The Freshwater Fisheries Conservation Lab is supervised by Dr. Bruce Tufts and conducts research related to the conservation and sustainable use of freshwater fisheries in Canada. Most of this research involves studies on wild fish populations that are targeted by recreational fisheries. Another important area of research is to develop better approaches for inland aquaculture in recirculation systems.
